Mucho Jobbage

So I am now officially working three jobs. Both the places that interviewed me offered me positions, and the scheduing worked out, so I accepted both. Lord knows I need all the money I can get. Georgina, the owner of the studio that I now teach at, absolutely adores me. I taught four classes yesterday, and she was teary-eyed when she thanked me and gave me a hug at the end of the day. As for DHC (the Japanese skincare company), I've been trying the products out (we got a whole bag of samples upon being hired), and I actually like them. That's super, because I'm always up for some good skincare. And a 50% discount doesn't hurt either. It'll work out a lot better than the line I use now, which is painfully expensive.

In less pleasant news, I've been battling a cold for the past week...and losing. My voice was starting to go when I was teaching today. Also, I have done exactly no work on my damn Jazzee piece. We're supposed to show our pieces on the 25th, so I have two weeks. Yikes! I wasn't as worried about it until it occurred to me that that's the last day of break, after which I need to actually start rehearsals, so I need to be at least somewhat prepared.

I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to get through this semester. It's gonna be a bastard. I've decided, though, that since they moved the class I was going to take for my writing intensive requirement, that I'd just take it in the fall, instead of trying to find a replacement. I figure, I'll need the units anyway, and my plate's quite full without having to write ridiculous amounts of papers.

So, that's my news. I haven't been updating much lately because my computer's a pain in the ass, and I've been using Sam's. At least his doesn't take three days to load a page, so that's enjoyable.
